" Ka-Ching Ka-Ching Dinner "

Finally the day has come ! Company's Christmas Dinner at Frangipani and second round at Luna Bar. Everyone is required to wear Bling Bling. There is a best-dress award but boss dint announce officially wats the reward. Boss keep it so secret till 5 days before only we knew the venue for dinner -.-" and just 6 days before, we only knew the theme is Be Bling!

Since i hv limited cash and time to shop for Bling, thus i tried browse through online boutique. Found a few but take time for me to consider as :

I can't try on it.
Might look nice but not on my body -.-"
Quality might various frm photo.
Size size size
Would i wearing the same dress w other colleagues ??

*Alaaa.... these are not only my concerns but every online shoppers !

I just tied my hair like a bun. Put on mascara and eyeliner. Makeup base, liquid foundation, concealer, loose powder and blusher only. Whether i make up anot, is pointless. Especially my eyes. No one notice it anyway and my skill is uhh... Dont mentioned it anymore :(

While waiting my manager to pick me up, grab a few minutes to "hao liao" a while. Hahahaha... Pfft. Someone saw these photos in my hp and said im a POSER, very hao liao. Hahaha...

Lolz. Its-not-bling-at-all-i-know

Almost everyone ady there when we reached. Every girls, yes EVERY. Bling till i cant open my eyes. Put on their best makeup n dress, high heels. Best-nye~ We hv drinks at upstair of Frangipani first before we go for our dinner. Camera's flash light never stop. Everyone is busy pose and snap photos. I feel kena tipu. My boss dress so hip-hop and like a kiddo. Not bling at all.

I ordered a fruit punch frm counter. Come as empty stomach thus dont want any alchohol or hard liquor yet. But the bartender jerked at me and said right in front of my face : BORING! Wtf.

While we stepped into the dining place, the waiter tell us one by one not to step into the lake. *point to the black smooth lake* It looks like marble la but look carefully sohai also know got water geh... But anyway, its really really a beautiful place. Yellowish light create warm feelings. Tables are all surround the lake. I personally think its an amazing romantic dining place for couple :)

3 long tables for all of us :

First table: Boss & wife and few colleagues. Mostly guys

2nd & 3rd table : All girls.

Taste like jelly and yuckkk!!

Starter : Crab and prawn bisque with crab quenellees, prawn poached in beurre noisette and a trail of Italian lemon oil. Prawns poached makes me crave for more. *Ah neh... satu lagi~*

Because the plate just way too big like a hat. Hahaha... very small portion of bisque !

Warm tea smoked salmon with confit potatoes creme fraiche and salmon roe.

*The salmon masuk mulut terus melt*
*Salmon roe. Imagine the juice spurt in ur mouth. WTF !!*

Main course : Roast organic chicken with chestnut apple and onion stuffing, roast butternut squash, Brussels sprouts with smoked duck bacon and trufflesauce.

*Chicken is cut into too thick. Big eater like me managed to eat 2 piece of it only*

Collegue's main course : Roast Australian tenderloin

Desert : Pan fried Christmas cake with eggnog ice cream and spun sugar and mince pie.

*The ice cream taste weird at first, but i fell in love on my second sip*

Lastly, everyone is ordering coffee.
I got myself cafe latte after a few sip of white wine :)

Ruby is on the way.... getting dizzy. Pfft

Sober. Extremely.

Head to Luna Bar bout 11pm. Its my first time been there. Hahaha... how shameful it is me this KL kia :p It is such a cool place to chill u know. Much better to another bar which also hv the significant KL view and swimming pool. Its open-air. Playing house/ trance music that nite. Free-flow of champagne. Heehehe... but our team left earlier, as usual. I was kinda regret now. Shud stay longer for more fun.
