" The Banquet, Bangsar "

Too bad, its not with LJ Roy this time. Hehehe... its my company marketing event. LJ has been hating me so much for having great dining without me. Especially my Sang Har Hor Fun at Grandmama's Pavilion. Damn nice and i alwiz want to go back for more... Previously also at Telawi Street Bistro. Dint noticed that they served really nice food coz i alwiz thought its for drinking only. Will be back again too if hv the opportunity.

This time having the event at The Banquet, Bangsar Village. A place that i wanted to so long. I knew its expensive. I googled search bout it, the nite before. And found that The Banquet is sister of Cafe Cafe KL.

There are 2 choices where you can dine inside (smoking section) or the outdoor section which is located at the centre court section of the shopping mall. I love the theme with white chandelier and warm light.

Their menu is quite big size like an A3 size paper. 4 pages. Giving me a feel of victorian style and newspaper look alike. Me like it :)

My very first Foie Gras (RM45)

Its very small piece like only 2/3 of my palm.
I mean the total of 2 pieces is just 2/3 of my palm !!!
Its pan fried at the surface with apple vinegar. Bit oily but that is how it suppose to be. Not recommended for high-cholestrol ppl. Hehehe... taste ok. I cant feel fullness at all since Foie Gras also a starter thus i ordered Escargot to share with my friend. But he insisted me to eat all when he saw the size of my little Foie Gras XD. Though he is not satisfied with his Lamb Shank. He ordered another Tiramisu. Heavy amount of brandy. Attentive service and i want to come back to try other food. Its not fair for me to rate this restaurant good or bad when i just tried few of the food :)
